Mental Health First Aid 2 Day Course

As a qualified and registered Mental Health First Aid England Instructor, a two day course can be delivered at a venue of your choice to a maximum of 16 delegates.

They will be taught to be Mental Health England First Aiders with the aims of:

  • Preserving life where a person may be at risk of harm to themselves  or others

  • Providing help to prevent worsening of the mental health issue

  • Promting recovery of good mental health

  • Providing comfort

  • Raising awareness of mental health issues within the community

  • Reducing stigma and discrimination

This is an internationally recognised course, delivered under reginal licence, that is endorsed by the NHS and fulfils obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974), the Mental Health Act (1983) and the Equality Act (2010) as well as addressing recommendations in some 15+ UK frameworks and legislation.

Delegates gain a huge amount of insight and confidence in mental health issues, and find the course challenging and very personally rewarding.
